These are original and unique one-off designs made using the Tiffany method.
The votives four-sided, and are designed to hold a large candle or to be placed in a window
where they will glow in the sunlight.

Method of making
A pattern is designed and hand drawn to scale, then glass in
complementary colours is selected to fit the pattern.
Each piece of glass is individually cut and ground to size,
then painted and fired in a kiln or etched to give a frosted
or patterned effect. The individual pieces are then wrapped
one at a time in copper-foil and burnished (some areas are
double layers of glass) before being soldered together into
the four sides, which are then constructed and soldered into
a three-dimensional shape.
